Would Google Anti-Trust Open the Market for Startups?

Curious what you guys think? Microsofts anti-trust lawsuit in the early 00's opened the door for the explosive growth of Apple and Google - or at least contributed in some way.

What do you believe this would mean for young startups? For the web devs - what do you think? Would you try your hand ins search?
