The domain on the email clickback, https://click.convertkit-mail2.com/ , literally doesn’t resolve for me. EDIT: because I was using quad9 doh, and this domain is on their blocklist

Are you running pihole or some other tracking protection?

Finding a cofounder is hard! Cheers for trying this type again. Are StartupWeekend still a thing? Way back (~2008) they were these "idea to revenue" folk would join, some would pitch, others would join teams then work over the weekend building. Get a chance to evaluate your peers in the game. And the time box adds pressure.

Stuff like this always has negative selection effects unless there’s some aggressive vetting up front

I have not used any of these services so I decided to give this one a shot. We'll see... they say every profile is vetted and I had to agree not to "sell my stuff".

They are still around in various places. But I do see more pitch competitions and such more than the game-jam style of making a group and working on something in the same room. I think Founders Forge in the Tri-Cities in East Tennessee still does them along with ETSU.

Ah, yes, thank you! It was being blocked by Quad9.
