Usually, developers write their own solutions if the output is better than existing solutions on the market. Eventually this will became smth like ClickHouse. Otherwise, we get 15 competing standards.
It would be interesting to compare SPQR with Citus or anything else in terms of functionality, fault tolerance, transactionality, and perfomance.
