#2Some popular products are way overpriced. There are cheaper and sometimes even more functional, convenient alternatives out there.
That's why I created this website—to make it easier to find those alternatives.
Anyone can request to add a product, but I'll only add it to the site after careful moderation

Will you be considering FOSS software suggestions on an open-ended basis?
It would be amusing to add Postgres as an alternative to Oracle.
Are there any other obvious rich ones which could be added?
p.s. Why is there no search box?
p.p.s How about a better name, like "BottomOfTheBottle.com", "NotOnlyTheBestButGoodEnough.com", "BottomRacer.cz", "SuperEfficient4U", etc. Something fun and light would be more entertaining to type / look at, and maybe stickier. "onlyfewdollars" just ... ugh. I don't like it.

Cool idea! Even though it is the ultimate race to the bottom :). Will you be considering FOSS software suggestions on an open-ended basis? There are a lot of free or almost-free products like Audacity, Inkscape, LibreOffice, VLC, PostgreSQL, Davinci resolve, Netbeans, Eclipse, etc

I'll add search later, but for now, you can just take a quick look at all the products, so it's not the most important thing right now. There are a lot of free or almost-free products like Audacity, Inkscape, LibreOffice, VLC, PostgreSQL, Davinci resolve, Netbeans, Eclipse, etc

OK. Good luck!

#9Neat. Too add a few: Blackmagic Davinci Resolve is a free alternative to Adobe Premiere, but limited to 1080p exports (not a big deal for most). Dia works as a partial alternative to Microsoft project. Kicad PCB is an excellent alternative to eagle. FreeCAD is a free CAD package as well.
