#3I haven't been asked for a review in awhile, but whenever an app pops up a dialog for this I immediately rate it 1-star, hoping to discourage the behaviour.
I think this behaviour dropped off a cliff when Apple implemented a standard way to ask for reviews and a toggle to disable it, which I assume I toggled years ago. But some apps presumably don't use this framework and get through to me anyway.

I don't know why you're getting downvoted but I do the same. I can't stand when I'm using and app and it asks me to rate it. If I am enjoying your app I will go to the store and rate/review it.

#10Also, I read in this article that Google forbids that review gating tactic, but I know 10-20 apps that asked me for feedback, I refused and then sent me to a random website to tell them what's wrong with this app. After that, of course, I went out of my way to drop 1 star since this is the worst tactic to gather engagement and turns people away from your app.
