Very unfortunate name for a company that wanted to expand in Brazil. In Portuguese, Koo is homophonous with the word for a**hole, so it's not a surprise it didn't stick. Not to say it wasn't humorous though. People had a lot of fun talking about and asking others about their Koos.

Audi made the same mistake with their "E-tron" car which means "Audi turd" in french.
Given the number of words with "bit/byte" for instance there's a point they just let it go.
