The last 10 months or so I've worked as an Engineering Manager for a Solutions Engineering team working with a full stack of ad-analysis tools, client notification systems and process automation. Previous to managing the team I was a Solutions Engineer II for about a year. We work in the advertising technology space, primarily with Prebid and a popular browser extension for analysing advertising setups. I'm also involved in product design and development. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Corporate Finance and spent several years of in the construction industry before diving into programming, which had previously just been a hobby. I am also the creator of FinMesh, a financial data API wrapper for Python. Eager to learn and hungry to grow in the depth and breadth of my skills I'm looking for junior software developer positions. Something in fintech, constructions technology or advertising fits my background well but I'm open to all opportunities.

Résumé/CV: On request

Hi, I'm Matt a senior backend developer with coming up to 6 years experience working predominantly backend utilising Node and TypeScript. In my most recent role and others I have also utilised some front end tech like React and Next so am capable of picking up work there too. I'm largely self taught with a Master's degree in Mathematical Medicine and Biology, so if my profile is missing any tech that you work with, I'm confident that I can learn it!

I've worked in both large, well established and early stage companies so am comfortable in either environment. I'm sociable, friendly guy who enjoys anything involving exercise and the outdoors in my spare time.

Please contact me if you have any questions.
