My ex did this exact same thing. He sat at his iMac Pro all day, idling at ~50-60c, with 7000-9000 tabs open/suspended at any given time. The only other thing he ever ran was iTerm2, so he claimed the slowdown was worth it.

You don't need to ask what the rest of his office looked like. Your imagination can fill in the blanks just fine, I'm sure.

7,400 tabs open. is excellent in my opinion. I've only ever had about 2000 open in Chrome. Only 1 minute to restore is excellent too , compared to what I have experienced with Chromes restoration time.
