They don’t. These corporations are incredibly popular among the public. Seriously. Look at any polling and you’ll find Amazon, Google, Apple with higher approval ratings than any branch of government (only the military is close), by high double-digit percentages. The average American would be happier with Amazon taking over the feds, than the other way around.
