I like this, but when I saw "directory" I was hoping to see something more like DMOZ, something ontological rather than a grab bag. Still cool, though, and I intend to spend some time poking around.

I see they have a "small Youtube" page.

Does Kagi has an add-on system that allows 3rd party developers to customize their searching/indexing/ranking/etc?

well, yeah actually. This is not an excuse, everything can be changed into something more open and not Microsoft software.
