SEEKING WORK | USA | REMOTE

I am a 20+ year experienced developer.

Most of my work has involved embedded development (Linux, RTOS, baremetal, C/C++/uPython), including various forms of networking and distributed systems, audio/video, as well as backend services (usually using Python, Django, and Go), deployments (AWS, DO, Ansible, Docker, etc). I also do iOS and Android development. I do some frontend work, but that isn't my specialty.

I love helping people develop new products to meet their goals and needs, especially with a focus for getting it in use and making money as soon as possible to demonstrate utility and make money. I also have extensive experience taking over existing legacy code bases.

I am available for part-time or full-time contract work, long-term or short-term. I would love for every project to turn into a lasting business relationship.

SEEKING WORK | REMOTE | United States

I'm a full-stack web developer with 8 years experience working on everything from building interactive front-ends to MVP products from scratch. I've got experience working at every level of the stack from DB to CSS, and also have enough experience in DevOps to get the thing hosted and monitored.

Perhaps my highest return on value is operating as someone who can drift between front-end and back-end in order to design and ship features, fixes, and improve DX. I put a lot of emphasis on repeatable processes that don't require developers to "remember how to do X" and leaves a readable paper trail of technical decisions (i.e. high-quality git logs, READMEs, etc).

I have a lot of experience with NodeJS/Typescript, React, TailwindCSS, and most of the surrounding ecosystem including a number of other frameworks (e.g. Express). I also have a lot of recent exposure to Ruby on Rails in an enterprise ecosystem.

Recent Projects:

- Front-end flight-path algorithm visualizer using CesiumJS.

- MatNative, mobile jiu jitsu gym management application to help gym owners spend less time managing and more time on the mats.

- North Idaho Health, online healthcare provider directory for the North Idaho region.

SEEKING WORK | BOSTON, MA and PROVIDENCE, RI | REMOTE POSSIBLE | PART TIME

Technologies: ASP.NET Core, JavaScript / TypeScript, React, Node, Postgres, DynamoDB, AWS are the most common

I'm a full-stack engineer and I've managed to carve out a niche solving problems in software that other programmers have not been able to. I'm looking for focused part-time work of about 3 - 6 months, though no project is too small.

I have extensive experience in manufacturing, specifically in both new-build and third-party IT systems (ERP, FIMS, smaller purpose-built systems) for manufacturing companies. I also have led projects for offering new manufacturing products using existing factory capabilities as a design engineer.

I'm a Software Engineer with ~12 years of experience. I've worked across a fair few stacks at this point but have a fair amount of experience in Python & JavaScript, not to mention general DevOps stuff. I've also worked across a few different roles, from Lead Dev to Engineering Manager.

I'm currently nomading around Southeast Asia and am keen to find some contract/freelance/consulting work. I'm pretty flexible with what I'm looking for in all honesty, my main want is to help solve problems and ideally write some great code.
