There is spinner on the PC side. You can generate face using https://comfyuiweb.com/Pixart-alpha . The model is perfect and can generate 1024x1024 resolution images.

Yes, there is a certain queue for the free service. If too much is generated, the longer the wait time is. The SDXL Turbo model has a manageable cost because it is generated faster.
