#4It's interesting and hopefully we find out. He turned a vague idea into an $80B venture that's already affecting nearly everyone one way or other, and somehow he's not capable as a leader?

#5Microsoft announced a bunch of stuff yesterday. The board saw the keynote but did not know just how much IP altman gave to MS and they got mad.
But more likely Altman channeled openAI money to his next endeavour somehow , but probably in a legal way. The board was the last to know that he was leaving.
Or something more dramatic. ChatGPT can certainly make up some wild ones.
I wonder, did they wait for Friday after the stock market closed, or was it coincidental?

#6He's actually a Terminator sent from the future to build skynet and kill Linda Hamilton, and he hid that from the board so they fired him.

They for sure want to make money the way they want and maximize it. But SA "Don't be evil" is BS. He turned this company "Open AI" that is not open AT ALL into a billion dollar busyness selling to everyone, no matter what they do with it. For sure people and companies are already doing very evil shit with it, so no.
