We were inspired to make this project because π/Twitter recently removed titles & description from link embeds in posts. It felt like much information has been lost and we want to bring back transparency to users.
Of course this is not limited to π/Twitter since you can fully control the displayed text and customize the embeds to match your brand CI.
As a tech stack we used Laravel (Backend/API), Next.js (Frontend) and node workers generating the images with WebGL - provisioned via Hashi Nomad.
