Hi, I'm Thomas and I've been working as a fullstack developer/technical lead for the pasr 10 years in Luxembourg (bank, fintech and european institution). I plan to relocate to Romania in the coming months to be with my girlfriend, so I'd be looking for a remote job or an hybrid one in Europe.

I have 11 years of experience, most of it on Corporate sized companies and I'm skilled in worked in Corporate size software and infrastructure and with distributed teams. I consider myself a very flexible engineer that will shift and use new tools and languages quickly. I have experience in Leading Teams. I've a knack for automation. On a personal side, I consider a very laid back and easy to interact person, I'm a team player and I don't like to play office politics. I accept I don't have every answer but I'm inquisitive by nature, and I don't give up until I find a definitive answer either be a positive or negative one.

I'm Kowshik Islam, a Toronto-based software engineer with a knack for building scalable and efficient solutions. I co-created Herald, an open-source observability platform for distributed applications, and spearheaded initiatives in automatic provisioning, microservices architecture, and containerization. Prior to Herald, as a self-employed developer, I contributed to the open-source community through several web apps. My career began at OFGO Studio, where I led the modernization of our existing infrastructure with software tools, transforming us into one of the most efficient companies in our domain.
