#2I've been following this company for years. They used to make you take a mold of your specific teeth and they made a custom device just for your mouth. This seems much better.

Yeah right. I reckon it will take just a few seconds to clean your mouth with the sponge, then take forever to get the sponge (almost) clean.

This sounds like a dubious claim. I've seen dirty sponges with fungus and all sorts growing on them, why should this be any different?
Also what about mineral buildup from hard water? Surely the microbes can adhere to that too.

The old one looked like a torture device but the sponge one seems much more reasonable. I am still curious I've never found reviews from a lab.

Also what about mineral buildup from hard water? Surely the microbes…
They say a sponge has an estimated effective lifespan of two months, so I don’t think hard water should cause issues over that timespan.

Have you used it? It seems like if this is as good as they claim it would be well known by now. I’m wondering what the catch is?
