  Willing to relocate: YES
Technologies: TypeScript, JavaScript, Next.js, Python, Django, Java, HTML, CSS
  Résumé/CV: https://ralmeida.dev/blog/resume

I am a Computer Science major at Bowdoin College and have been programming for six years; I am currently looking for internships that do not require US work authorization (can be unpaid) in fast-paced and collaborative environments like startups and non-profits. I can work on-site between May and August (summer break or any breaks) or remotely part-time during the academic year. I am initiative-taking and can work under pressure. I have undertaken large group projects like creating full-stack applications with Django and Next.js, API usage like Discord.py, many Google APIs, and the use of AI through ChatGPT. My projects have been for software development competitions and general community benefits. For example, I won 1st and 3rd in separate years for the FBLA competition in NJ, automated meeting scheduling at AiGoLearning, an education non-profit, deployed a live bracket website for school sports tournaments and created a `gamified` forum in Discord for my Coding Club. I have always been in small yet rigorous academic environments, taking courses like Advanced Software Development (Java), Web Design (HTML, CSS), Database Programming and development (SQL), and Data Structures (Java).

I'm a Junior Developer who graduated in December of last year with average grades. Unfortunately I am currently on the bench of a IT Service Provider due to lack of contracts. So I am mostly self-learning and peeking into different languages/technologies. Really looking for any type of work where I can develop my skills and get proper mentorship. I am motivated, willing to learn and willing to work hard. I would say I have a good grasp of many things, but I just need more practical experience. Algorithms and and data structures are not my strengths but I am currently picking up on that. If you are not looking not looking for a superstar but for an eager Junior, please reach out to me, I'd love to see if we click!

Hi! I'm El Nino, a UI/UX designer and illustrator. My digital design studio is available for hire. We are a team of three people who have been working with US and EU-based companies for more than five years, so timezone and language are not issues for us. We are open for long-term work ($5,000/month) or one-time projects ($5,000/project).

Feel free to send us an email or book a free call: https://calendly.com/uisual/intro
