The problem i have with anything like this is, it is another layer to whom i am giving my data. I have a relationship with chatGPT like i do with google (search) - the questions that are in there, yes could build a picture of me - i don't want any risk of that being filtered off somewhere else.

Would you prefer to self-host this?

I open the link, "ok, this doesn't seem to be for me", I can't back out of the page because the back button doesn't work and forcibly keeps me on the page, I roll my eyes and close the tab - the entire project is forever dead to me.

fixed, it was nice knowing you

Having a bad day I guess?

Really nice and polished. I was hopeful (but not expectant), that it would use the chatgpt internal API's rather than using the public API as the flat-cost for ChatGPT of $20 can easily give significant cost savings when used heavily, but I am certain this approach is both against their ToS and actively blocked. Still, I really like it!

The irony of the Community chat being on Discord rather than Slack isn't lost on me, why did you pick Discord over Slack?

That would be better. If I am honest, the very fact that something like this, has a gihub, and I can see the code (yes, it might not be the same code) makes me more confident about using a hosted service. But yes, I would possibly use this self-hosted.

The potential ability to make plugins for a self-hosted version this is very very interesting.

Safari-> save as an app. Done

Not completely, you have to edit a manifest, because ChatGPT’s is incomplete
