I find it hard for someone not to feel this way if they’re a billionaire let alone Elon Musk. I’m sure the ketamine isn't helping but Elon has always came off as eccentric and impulsive.

I'm not sure I agree with that description though. Ket goes from being a bit like alcohol, to being extremely trashed in the sense of loss of feeling, numbness, loss of coordination and sensory perception. And with enough you get the k-hole effect. Nowhere is the manic energy one gets from dopamine and stimulants. Maybe they're misinterpreting the ego death of a k-hole as the feeling of specialness? Anyways, when you're in that state, it's very unlikely you're at all capable of typing on a phone.

Perhaps people can feel like they have special talents or powers in one field while still feeling apprehensive and anxious when it comes to other facets of life ie. I don't know that success in business equates to confidence on the dance floor.

#6It’s very difficult to assess the effects a drug may have on a specific individual, especially someone potentially not very neurotypical, and without knowing the true dosage and usage patterns.
Plus there’s so much that can go into decision making, ascribing “commonly reported effects” of a drug to explain behavior at a distance is kinda lazy and pointless to say the least.
Gives the vibe of a lack of experience with using self-curated drugs as a personalized and refined regimen for mental maintenance.

#7Ketamine saved my life. Low-dose, nasal spray. My body felt drunk, but my mind was completely clear. It was a little awkward to walk, but I could sit and hold a conversation without a problem. Given my experience, this article just seems like fear mongering.

I assume you took the exact same dosage, form, and type of delivery as Musk and that you have the same genetics and diet as Musk? Because otherwise, there are far too many factors at play to make any comparison.

The detox period from ketamine can induce manic psychosis and it can be invisible to a frequent user. I spent six or eight months daily using ketamine 20 years ago and mania became my constant companion towards the end.

I followed a ketamine treatment for depression (in an hospital setting), it make me trippy and tired, not excited and full of energy. While I don't have any experience with other drug, I would have associated it more with LSD, psilocybin or cannabis that cocaïne and amphétamine
