Hi! I’m James, a 15+ year solutions architect and full stack engineer. I have primarily been working on high throughput systems for the likes of NVIDIA, TNW, and Mollie.

Until recently I was the CTO and cofounder of a startup (Affic).

I’m super interested in roles that allow me to collaborate on large impact architectural decisions and even lead the project through from start to finish. But I’m also an engineer (from infra to backend, my front end is rusty right now but I’m learning Vue) and building things is fun :)

I’m available immediately.

Technology should bring out the best in people - that belief guides my approach. Over 20 years building software, hardware and AI systems, I've created solutions that deliver real-world impact. I start every project by understanding clients’ core challenges and aspirations. What problems do they want to solve? Where do they envision going? With an entrepreneurial drive, I design innovative platforms, products and services tailored to each organization’s goals. My expertise in emerging tech like AI, IoT and cloud architecture enables me to disrupt industries and accelerate company growth. I’ve led cutting-edge projects in healthcare, e-learning, computer vision, facilities management and more. Some key accomplishments:

- Led a team to develop AI system that detects breast cancer, enabling earlier treatment

- Re-used the same platform to lead a computer vision algorithm that identifies skin cancer

- Built an IoT platform for a visit from The President under Secret Service constraints

- Launched Product-of-the-Year award-winning smart building systems adopted by over 500 organizations

- Pioneered and led a team to develop a breakthrough eLearning platform about Industrial AI

I thrive on using technology to drive transformation. If you want to push boundaries and lead your industry forward, let’s connect! I'm eager to learn about your vision and partner to turn ambitious goals into reality.
