SEEKING WORK | Zagreb, Croatia (Europe) | Remote (any time zone)

I'm a seasoned web development expert with over a decade of experience helping companies take their products from concept to market delivery.

Over the past four years, I have been exclusively working remotely. Before that, I worked onsite in San Francisco and Berlin, collaborating with highly successful companies (one recently acquired for $7.1b).

My strengths are in front-end, UX, product development, but I also know my way around a back-end codebase. I have led multiple front-end teams and have also independently developed many products from scratch.

SEEKING WORK | Cambridge, UK | Remote preferred (occasional travel OK)

I have over 20 years’ experience building software, specialising in:

• Technical applications (mathematical, scientific, engineering)

• Software for hardware (IoT, embedded, lab equipment)

• Interesting presentation (custom UIs, data viz)

My target market is start-ups/scale-ups/SMEs needing immediate help with either hands-on development work or strategic advice, technical design, etc.

For small to medium applications — such as an MVP for a startup, a UI for a hardware product, or implementing mathematical models and visualisations for researchers — I can offer a fully outsourced development service if required.

I can also join an existing team temporarily to give a short-term boost, perhaps helping with a challenging project or co-ordinating a larger initiative across teams. This can include a training/mentoring element if you need to upskill quickly.

Every project is different and will be treated as such, but recently I’ve been favouring TypeScript or Python for web development (with React or Vue for UI work) and Python, C++ or Haskell for more technical or hardware-related work. I have experience with a wide range of target platforms from AWS to embedded ARM.

If you have a project that I may be able to help you with, you’re welcome to get in touch. My contact details are in my profile.

SEEKING WORK | Remote only | Europe

I'm a software engineer with 8+ years experience focusing on python. I've worked with django, flask, fastapi and other asynchronous frameworks. I have also gotten comfortable with frontend and prefer to either use a lightweight approach using something like HTMX or working with web components à la lit-html.

People tell me that I've helped them overcome their challenges, which includes project owners to junior members of the team.

I'm especially interested in working for companies in the renewable energy sector or for companies focusing on environmental issues.

I'm either looking for 1 to 1.5 day / per week engagements or long-term full-time engagements.
