Apart from the superficial use of the $ sign, what else is jQuery about any of this?

#4I'll be the first to mourn the (future) loss of $: but the video clearly shows that the changes are a pretty enticing way to make your code that little bit cleaner, and solve all of the "but Redux!" style questions.

#6This looks like it’s moving closer to React Hooks, but using the compile step to optimize them out? Kinda like a better React Forget?
