I should emphasize that if someone is laid off, that doesn't mean they aren't a good employee. Sometimes layoffs just happen and you're in the wrong place at the wrong time. Strategies shift or priorities change.

#30The more you are attached to something, the harder it is for you to cope. If visa situation doesn't work out, be positive about the alternative: going back to another country or home country and start your life there. Since people don't want to focus on alternatives, they get depressed.
