Ask HN: Is The Guardian down for you too?

Trying to go to The Guardian's homepage and it leads to this URL:

https://www.theguardian.com/europe

which has a URL to go back to the homepage but it's a redirect back to the URL above.

Seems to work fine from the US. (Here, the top-right drop-down offers US, UK, Australia, and International versions. I do get a 404 page if I try to go to /europe.)

It looks like it's possible to access articles with a direct link but then trying to go anywhere else on the site is a redirect to the 404 page. Someone probably feel asleep at the keyboard and accidentally pushed to prod.

It seems to be fixed now, but yes your URL did work.
