#5My mind is blown.
I wonder whether the “Rauschenberg Illusion” would count. Named after Robert Rauschenberg’s blank white canvases which show that big white fields are filled with illusions of color and form from our visual system. (Or at least, they are for me. I’m not nuts, am I?)

#6I'm very shocked that these were only discovered so recently (Well. If you consider the early 2000's to be "recent". I'd have assumed that we'd have found these out earlier)
I suppose that's why they were all the rage in childrens' books and museums around that time.

#9Can these affect your vision (long-term) if you stare at them for too long? I feel like many of these images produce similar effects to the McCollough effect. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McCollough_effect
