Kick Health || Remote || Full-Time || Lead Product-Focused Full Stack Web Engineer Performance Medicine (Sleep + Public Speaking) https://www.gokick.com

Where Product-Focused Engineers tired of coding soulless products instead create meaningful impact at scale in the lives of hundreds of thousands of people...

Kick Health is the first online Performance Medicine clinic. We help patients with sleep difficulties and presentation fears become the best performing versions of themselves (and not in the cliched, social-media influencer way).

We've been featured in the New York Times, Stat Medical News, Slate, Business Insider, and Bloomberg.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and experienced Full Stack Engineer with strong product sense to join our team. As a Product-Focused Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering consumer and doctor-facing products.

You'll report directly to and work closely with the technical CEO, who previously helped start AllTrails, the #1 app for the outdoors with over 50 million users in 100+ countries.

Hope to start your own startup one day? This is a chance to join a quickly scaling startup to learn about achieving product-market fit and scaling rapidly.

You will work on a developer-driven, modern tech stack, including Golang, React JS, GraphQL, Postgres, Kubernetes/Docker, and Google Cloud. We are seeking a candidate who can handle any part of this tech stack and has a deep understanding of building and scaling consumer-facing products.

Sound enticing? Please reach out to us at hnjobs@gokick.com and tell us a bit about what makes you amazing.

Can't help but notice the gap between UK and US companies. While most US jobs are remote, those in the UK are not. Pretty backwards.

Didn't notice many of the UK companies here, but of the ones present it's either Lloyds with hybrid and an office in basically every town or some lesser-known ones that do require London. Anyways makes little sense to work locally if there are options to remote for the US and do so outside IR35 :/

Well exactly. I'm not entirely sure what's going on, but it would appear they are desperate to steer skilled folks away from the british market. Even companies in mainland europe are more remote friendly. The UK is guaranteed to lose its tech edge.
