I am not sure about that. It depends how far you want to take it. I dont think ADHD medication should be OTC. An experienced psychiatrist should always prescribe it. There are issues surrounding that in the US, given price. In Norway my meds are free.

OTC or not, the controlled substance laws and schedules (yes, in the US) have resulted in the demand exceeding the supply. People who need them cannot get them because they're just not available. Pharmacists can't even tell you what they do or don't have.

There are 3 different triflange tip sizes, and foamies. Getting the seal right for me is about being willing to put them in deep enough. It certainly takes a bit of adjustment to how deep you have to insert them. There are plenty of non-deep insertion IEMs, but they are "only" usually around -20DB. I've used the 7HZ Timeless, and it is an excellent IEM... But it doesn't match the ER4, for my use-case.

I know that Etymotics must violate the ear canal to work, but for me the right monitor (and only the right monitor) gets some sort of incorrect seal that muffles the driver after some seconds regardless of the tips used and after cleaning the ears thoroughly, that disappears if I press lightly on the outside, so I suspect a problem with the ear canal shape. I tried swapping the monitors as the cables are detachable, and tried different output devices, didn't work either, so it's not an electronic problem. It's just weird and frustrating. I'm thinking of simply buying a pair of reasonably priced over-ear muffs, maybe with active noise cancelling, and wearing IEMs under them. It would look strange, but comfort is more important.

I understand your point, and I truly believe in our mission. I'm driven by my own experiences with ADHD, along with my family's journey, I'm committed to making a real difference. Ironically, that is the very reason I set out to create Comigo, because I think productivity tools as a solution for ADHD are BS. Especially given the massive cognitive overload the user interfaces create and the tedious process for creating tasks, organizing, etc, which are very difficult for people with ADHD.

BUT, point taken on how I am presenting the product. Clearly I need to rethink that and will.

For something like this the privacy policy should be rock solid first, product mvp second. The brevity of the one you have in place seems like you haven't done any work on gdpr / ccpa, etc. If the profit model requires a loose privacy policy then let me pay for an airtight one. This seems like the needed model for anything in this realm ongoing.

Privacy and regulatory compliance are first and foremost before we publicly launch. We are having a discussion with a notable privacy scholar on joining us as an advisor. Any sharing of data will be optional, although hopefully some people will share (anonymously and encrypted) prompts, inputs, interactions, etc because it would be extremely useful for fine-tuning our model with collective and individual user data, in addition to sources of clinically validated data, to better help.

"we just started building a few weeks ago" So, you've put "a few weeks" of work into your project, but nevertheless already feel confident that you can market it as a medical treatment. Why?

Fair point. We have been working on this for several months in what I would call and academic manner. And for years prior in other experimental ways to see what does and does not work. And some on our team have experience with other mental health disorders such as PTSD in a medical college lead environment. However, I will be mindful of positioning Comigo as a medical treatment until further due diligence into the FDA approval process as a medical device (in our case software, but that's how they categorize it).
