I've been happily using Kagi, but the Kagi extension now requires my browser history, why?

I don't want to send that to anyone!

I understand that I can simply use the default search anyway, but it annoys me a lot when they're supposedly private (other than searching).

That was a mistake and the extension was updated to remove that permission.
