I'm a senior full-stack software engineer based in West Palm Beach, FL. Most recently, I was the lead architect and developer of Fortuna, a highly available and fault-tolerant open-source Ethereum transfer event ingestor used to keep track of all ERC20, ERC721, and ERC1155 transfer events and token metadata since genesis. It ingests, calculates, stores, and serves terabytes of data. https://github.com/upstreamapp/fortuna.
I'm also the co-creator of Campion, https://campion-breaker.github.io, an edge-based serverless middleware for implementing circuit-breaking functionality for distributed services.
Previously, I founded BooklyBox, which was successfully acquired by Quarterly, https://techcrunch.com/2017/06/12/pagehabit/.

About Me: With over two decades in the tech industry, I've evolved through roles from software engineer to product manager, SVP, and CEO. I've consistently demonstrated the ability to drive technological innovation, create and implement strategic business decisions, and lead diverse and remote teams to success.
In my entrepreneurial journey, I founded the Brand Protection Agency, a B2B SaaS company. I not only bootstrapped it into a 100-person fully remote organization but successfully navigated it to acquisition, showcasing my business acumen and ability to scale and lead a technology-driven enterprise.
My latest venture is KindBuds.ai, where I've harnessed the power of AI to enable customizable markets and chatbots, illustrating my knack for aligning technology with market needs. Check out this Telluride example:

While my experience showcases entrepreneurial prowess, it's my deep technical know-how, cross-functional leadership, and passion for building cohesive teams around innovative ideas that make me an ideal fit for senior roles such as CTO, VP of Product, or VP of Commerce.
Whether it's leading the development of cutting-edge solutions, strategizing for market expansion, or orchestrating optimal team performance, I'm ready to leverage my experience for your success.
I'm open to both long-term full-time commitments and short-term engagements that align with my skill set and values. Looking forward to exploring opportunities where I can drive impact and growth.

Deep generalist, former CTO for startups and German government institution with a billion-dollar revenue. I love exploring new topics and the science behind them. I've built meaningful solutions in IC testing, real-time seismic activity detection and mitigation, healthcare, surgery procedures and materials, AI, security, and even physical data center construction.
I'm really good at building high performance distributed teams with asynchronous standups and release management for startups that struggle to get their products out of the door.

#18South Africa. Open to remote anywhere. https://www.rundata.co.za
While I specialise in Linux programs, applications and systems, I have in the past used a little of everything: C# + .Net, Golang, C/C++, very little Android dev (Kotlin), some Java dev (Android).
I am very proficient in Bash, have turned out a few webapps using Vanilla JS + HTML + CSS on the frontend, Golang/C#/Java on the backend.
I believe in delivering bespoke software, and usually use a stack composed of JS, HTML, CSS, Golang, Linux, PostgreSQL with Nginx as a load-balancer (rarely needed, to be honest).
I've also written network applications for some clients, a few GUI applications, and at least one Windows Service.
