Taiwan isn't hostile to China nor Russia; it's the other way around.

People like Russia in inverse proximity to how close it is. Also remember Vladivostok used to be part of China and China lost it during the “century of humiliation” so they probably feel the way about it they feel about Taiwan. Similarly other countries in Asia have been under China’s thumb to some extent or another for 1000+ years. They aren’t really fans. Counties in Africa might not love American hegemony but woul…
