That's (1) a strawman and (2) what do you care what other people want to do with their computers?
I think very few people will buy the laptop with 8 GPUs because it will be expensive. It's not a strawman - it's what you asked for. Or what did you mean instead?

GGGP did not suggest to add 8 GPUs. That was your invention. They wrote 'Just make all ports fully capable?' which could be accomplished with a single GPU and the limitation that you can only plug a display into one port (or maybe two if your GPU is dual display capable).
