Right around the $400k mark with base/equity/bonus. Private company though.
Specifically working on distributed systems.

I work for the largest Clinical research org in the world & we were bought by them last year. I'm a bit surprised & the group that bought us was not known for tech. It's like reading "leaks from people working at intelligence agency X", you just can't tell what is exaggeration, what are lies, so you end up a bit dumber usually.
