#162Prigozhin, via AP Wagner channel, calls for Rosgvardia to join him, or "things will go badly": " The most promising politician appeals to the National Guard (Rosgvardia) with an offer that is better not refused. Obeying criminal orders and attempting to interfere with the planned campaign of Justice will end badly for employees who have made the wrong choice. "Criminal"? "Justice"? Prigozhin is using those words? I'd expect he would want everyone to forget that such words existed.

#163Is there a deal Kyiv can strike with Putin in this moment?
I think any peace deal would necessarily involve ceded territory. I imagine that territory could be the Bryansk, Kursk, Bilhorod, Rostov, and Krasnodar oblasts.

Ukraine struggles with ideas what to do with unloyal population on ukranian occupied territories. Main ideas are "we just mass deport locals to Russia" (FTR that's a genocide and not because of destination) and "we just forbid russian propaganda there and everyone would magically start love us and accept ukrainization". And you are talking about russian territories that combined have size of half of Ukraine and which…

Russian government and it's mass-media has no trust in any questions (especially in Ukraine-related), no sane person trusts them, even ultra-Z-pro-war-vatniks (if we can call them sane).

If you are talking about what to do with unloyal locals in Donetsk and Luhansk, I took it from ukranian propaganda, not russian. Russian government and it's mass-media has no trust in any questions (especially in Ukraine-related), no sane person trusts them, even ultra-Z-pro-war-vatniks (if we can call them sane).
Many of my close friends are from the temporarily occupied territories. They speak russian, but they hate russia.
They all fucking hate russia.
For your claim to be so wildly inaccurate shows you haven't even a shred of credibility. And to accuse the Ukrainian government of genocide is disgusting.
Go and take a long hard look in the mirror.

This is the best prospect for peace on this planet. Are you not happy about this?

Ukraine was defending in an urban area. They were trading casualties favourably with Russian the entire time.
Yes, they were defending in an urban area, but I think this matters less than you might expect. Russia's strategy was to saturate the Ukrainians with artillery, and they undoubtedly have superiority in this area. This kind of warfare basically negates the advantages of urban defence. Sure, it took a long time to make progress, but by design it limits the casualties of the attacker. I'd wager that most Ukrainians that…

As in… “having read Machiavelli’s The Prince, I am aware that a mercenary army is not reliable?” ?? That’s what keeps occurring to me.
As the general sent to butcher a region and then was executed for doing what he was actually asked for. His fate was obvious from he beginning but he went there with such impediment that's quite strange he's stil' breathing.
My question is how this relates to the words “The Prince” ? Is that a reference to Machiavelli? Or Prince Myshkin from Dostoyevsky or some other Prince? A novel, a poem… I just want to know what in particular the words “the prince” refer to here?
