I believe it's in testing.

And appreciate that the word "testing" was used seven times in the short post.

the release is expected to be tomorrow.

Perhaps the goal was to alert people to that, although TFA doesn't actually say that.

Bookworm has been an alias for testing on apt repos for a while now. I think it's releasing very soon though.

(Of course you can upgrade right now if you want: the next Debian -stable release is just synonymous with the current -testing release).
