I am a full stack developer and designer with experience of all aspects of building a product, both digital and physical. Before becoming a full time software developer I was a product design engineer in the BioTech industry. I previously built, and ran, a small business, and have experience of management and online marketing. I'm currently contracting, but looking at all opportunities. I am particularly interested in bridging the gap between highly technical products and usable design - my current contract is overhauling the front end for an antibody sequence and structure analysis workbench bioinformatics product used for drug discovery.

Lynk Capital Markets, a remote first FinTech startup based in Miami is looking for a freelancer with experience with Bloomberg's FIX protocol to develop a price streaming service to enable trade execution of investment strategies we issue notes for. Below are the list of required/desired skills;

• Design and develop a robust internal corporate FIX streaming system. • Ensure seamless integration with our existing platforms and systems. • Troubleshoot complex software issues and provide innovative solutions. • Continuously optimize system performance and efficiency. • Work closely with our in-house team of analysts, designers, and developers. • At least 1 years of experience as a Software Developer, with a focus on FIX protocol.

I am a 20+ year experienced developer.

Most of my work has involved embedded development (Linux, RTOS, baremetal, C/C++/uPython), including various forms of networking and distributed systems, audio/video, as well as backend services (usually using Python, Django, and Go), deployments (AWS, DO, Ansible, Docker, etc). I also do iOS and Android development. I do some frontend work, but that isn't my specialty.

I love helping people develop new products to meet their goals and needs, especially with a focus for getting it in use and making money as soon as possible to demonstrate utility and make money. I also have extensive experience taking over existing legacy codebases
