SEEKING FREELANCER | Remote Refine and iterate on gpt agents. An example project - prove that it's impossible to make a GPT agent that can do the following task: Please make me a table of all quest diagnostics locations within 10 miles of [zip, city], as well as the yelp review scores for each location. Do it only via browsing, no APIs. But the constraints: No API usage (other than google search API), no hard coding…

To apply, send 2 things:

1. Links to the 1-2 solo projects you've made that you refined the most over the longest time / most iterations

2. How would you approach proving whether it's currently impossible to make a version of BabyAGI that can succeed at the task mentioned?

Preferably, send these by June 3. But if it's past that time, please still send it in, as I'm hiring multiple freelancers on a rolling basis.

Send to [email redacted]

No other info needed, and please be concise in your email.

If you already posted in this thread as a freelancer, please still reach out - I rely on people reaching out.

Other possible projects: more agent projects, using LLMs to identify and measure the spread of complex ideas online, tools and auto graded competitions to compare LLMs. If you're interested in one of those in particular, include a few bullet points of thoughts you have on them.

Communication style if we work together: no phone calls, mostly email for communications. Occasional Loom videos or Otter audio notes. Can do discord though email is easier.

SEEKING WORK | US | Remote | (Flexible availability)

============================================================

Ex-Google, Ex-Amazon software engineer with experience at various other enterprise-scale companies. Looking to help companies build and scale their products with robust operational resiliency, either as a core-contributor or part-time CTO.

-- Python / NodeJS / Rust / Go --

Differentiators - I specialize in helping small to medium startups improve their development and release processes, and fortify their operational resiliency. This may take many forms, from straightforward improvements to CI/CD and testing, to more sweeping architectural changes aimed at pre-empting scale and cost complications. I have not seen every problem (nor do I believe I’ve seen most of them), but from a broad set of experiences and deep research in the field of software system design, my clients enjoy immediate and lasting impact towards their company’s goals. When I encounter something that is orthogonal to my experience, I draw from my diverse network of industry experts as an investment in MY business, at no cost to my clients. I bill for my time solving client problems, not learning new skills, and as a consequence only accept work when I believe there’s a good fit.

I have a passion for - building data-intensive applications. I enjoy speccing out larger architectural migrations for existing software or designing backends to leverage workload-optimized datastores for the unique demands of different components of a distributed system. I also thrive at getting the most performance out of monolithic storage systems when optimizing more for developer ease. Though the bulk of my services are typically done entirely asynchronously, I enjoy being available for collaboration and mentorship when it can benefit my clients and their teams.

For recent clients - I’ve been working on importing cloud resources into infrastructure as code, building custom development/testing frameworks, creating dynamic templates for code generation, building out initial CI/CD, enforcing coding standards, setting up change management processes, and migrating resources into a multi-account AWS Organization per the AWS SRA specification. All of my projects are left with exceptional amounts of FAANG-inspired documentation (both for continued development and maintenance). I treat each piece of work as I’d want it handed off to me.

Seeking Work

Location: Central Europe, 100% Remote

Remote: Fully, but on-site travel can be arranged

Email: tinmarkoviccs (at) gmail.com

I'm a generalist and an opinionated software engineer with experience both in management and as an indepth technical designer, I am looking forward to work with you. If you need a larger team at your disposal, I can arrange that with my industry connections. I'm not looking for "cog in the machine coder" type positions :)

Leave me your contact if you'd utilize my help with:

- Large web API implementations

- Automatic code quality checks and processes

- Software Engineer management coaching or mentoring

- Process and scoping help (how to leave development hell)

- Large data streaming and processing systems

... and plenty other things, really. I am certain we can figure out a way to solve your issues in the way that _brings joy_.

I've got 8+ years of senior experience (leading and managing projects and teams). I've recently written code in Go, TS (& React), and Python (deployment and architecture included) with traditional stacks (Postgre, Redis, Kafka, etc. etc) and I'm comfortable with all the modern web tech-stack. I've got some past experience with C#, PHP, and all kinds of scripting languages. I pick up languages quite quickly, so that shouldn't be a problem, and I've got a working knowledge of most programming paradigms.

Reach out to me:

- via email at tinmarkoviccs (at) gmail.com

- via linkedin https://www.linkedin.com/in/tin-markovic

Feel free to browse my web to learn more about me at https://tinthe.dev/ :)
