Pretty cool UI, I'm jelly. Has anyone used this 'iced' GUI library; is it anywhere near mature? I like my libraries older than my wine.

It's new. All the Rust GUI libraries are new and the community is still experimenting with different ideas to find the best architecture.

How could be anything other than new... It's Rust. It's not going to be from 1975 because it can't be.

This is probably really obtuse of me, but how is this different than tcpdump?

From the description: "Application to comfortably monitor your network traffic". I think the keyword here is "comfortably".

You can pump tcpdump into wireshark for a pleasant remote experience

It could be, or could have started out as, a reimplementation of an existing library that has been around in one or more forms for some time.

i think it's more aimed at the average prosumer to get a verification that almost all of their traffic goes to some big-corp via https
