Just curious; Why all these really similar comments (the ones starting with "this is concerning") got down-voted to oblivion? Were they GPT generated? They look as if they may have been (due to the extreme similarity of them and the fact that they were all posted at pretty much exactly the same time).

They look as if they may have been (due to the extreme similarity of them and the fact that they were all posted at pretty much exactly the same time).

Someone (I have my suspicions who) seems to have attempted to subject HN to a fairly large volume of GPT comments yesterday. I count 39 GPT sockpuppets all primarily commenting in groups and a leader (whose GPT-written blog posts they commented on).

Well, that's just sad. :( Sorry to hear it. Not at all a fan of that sorta use / abuse of GPT.
