SEEKING WORK, SF, REMOTE OK

I'm a principal software engineer with 14 years of experience who currently specializes in the application of generative AI technologies. I've recently built a framework for scaffolding and combining together trees of prompts into cognitive networks; I used this to create tools for

1) deep analysis of nonfiction [including scientific literature] and poetry that perform better than the (public) state of the art 2) an automated outliner of your stream of consciousness that inserts and organizes your latest stream into an arbitrarily large outline without vector database techniques 3) an automated 'Rumi-nator' that takes text and transforms it over several hundred iterations, while keeping roughly the same subject and without losing content, into a much more fascinating, coherent, instructive, and erudite work. Speaking with many professionals in the AI space, the output of this process is of a higher quality than any other LLM without manual human guidance.

If you are interested in the application of any of the above tools to your workflow, have your own that you would like built to order, or are just curious about how to apply AI to your career or company, please don't hesitate to email pure.fp.computational.poetry@gmail.com

I am a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), Google Style, with experience at both large and small organizations. I've been using Kubernetes since the very beginning, been actively working at scale, and worked across the stack and with diverse technologies. I'm looking to help small dev teams increase their velocity by implementing best-practices of Devops: CI/CD, Kubernetes Deployments, and effective Monitoring frameworks. My current availability is limited; I'm well stocked on clients though trying to increase throughput and wrap up some projects. I'm available for consulting on your initial setup, for fixing your build, as well as on retainer for operational Oncall.

SEEKING WORK NY, LA, or REMOTE

2023 is a rough year for founders. With VC funding down 53% YoY and the loss of SVB (and now FRB), the Era of Easy Money is over.

Startups today have to move fast, stay flexible, and focus on what matters most: sustainable, achievable growth.

Most agencies and freelancers don't get this. They don't understand the difficult balance between moving quickly and keeping costs low. They don't understand how to support rapid iterations and continuous discovery through the grind towards Product-Market Fit. They don't get the need for flexibility—the ability to take a complete 180 at a moment's notice in response to a founder's ever-evolving understanding of their target market.

Most agencies just don't get startups.

But I do.

Since 2015, I've helped early-stage companies scale their tech output without scaling their budgets. Unlike our competition, I get startups: I was Founding Engineer at Zipline and have helped 35+ companies build, launch, and scale their products since going independent in 2015.

Now, at NoNerds.com, I'm supported by a team of 20+ world-class Nerds from the US, EU, and Latin America. We've helped companies backed by YC, Fidelity, and T Rowe Price—companies that have raised over $650M and counting with our work.

If you're looking for a technical partner that will build whatever you tell them to, keep looking.

That's not us.

But if you're looking for a partner that will challenge you to build the best possible product you can?

Let's chat.

SEEKING WORK | Remote (Tucson, Arizona)

I'm a full-service writer who helps open source && cloud native startups inspire devs and engineering leads to `commit`.

For those still forming value propositions and fine-tuning websites, I uplevel the messaging you already have with my unique experience with these technical communities. And for those ready to distribute their proven messaging with content, I write opinionated and technical articles on Kubernetes, GitOps, IaC, pre commit validation and shift left, trace-based testing, APIOps, and much more. I recently authored a report in association with CNCF on end user adoption of cloud native tooling, which gave the unique opportunity to pick the brains of 20 tech leaders at major orgs on platform engineering, tool choice, Kubernetes provisioning, and much more.

How can I make this know-how for you?

- Initialize a messaging strategy that differentiates your open source project and commercial product as commit-worthy

- Load balance your copywriting tasks so you can return to being a founder, leader, and maintainer

- Deploy content (both strategy and execution) that builds trust and authority with your strongest opinions backed by your technical prowess

If you feel like you can't reach the right people because you don't have the right copy/content, or know where you're headed but can't scale, shoot me an email and we'll find the paved road you've been after.
