Hi, I'm a full-stack developer with years of programming experience. I'm looking for opportunities to help me learn and grow as a software engineer. I'm happy to speak with anyone on your team if I'm a good fit.

I’m looking for an opportunity where I won't be squeezed into a tiny box. Ideally at the a early startup, close to the product development.I will consider part-time or full time. Ideally b2b.

I'm Justin. I have 5 years of industry experience. I have a BSc. in mathematics and MSc. in computer science. My ending project work for my MSc. focussed on high-performance computing, involving C/C++, LLVM and Haskell.
I was most recently working on the automated market making of cryptocurrency options on a number of large options exchanges (Rust). Previous to that, I worked as a backend developer at a bank. I later developed a high-performance data analytics engine in Scala used for the insurance industry, and later worked on software for the optimisation of home energy usage (Haskell).
Having worked in a number of fields, I'm not too hard set on what I work on next, but have a preference to remain in the finance/trading field (crypto, betting or traditional finance). I am open to all interesting suggestions, and I am available to start work straight away.

#57Remote: Yes
Willing to relocate: no
Technologies: Embedded systems, automotive, machine learning, signal processing, data science, real time computing, safety processes (MISRA, ISO26262, etc), MATLAB, FPGA.
Resume: LinkedIn -- https://www.linkedin.com/in/wcunning
Email: wdocunningham@gmail.com
Background: Masters in control theory and signal processing, working in the auto industry for the last 7 years, first on low level powertrain software then the last year or so on LIDAR/computer vision for autonomous vehicles. I've done the most work in C, but I'm now getting up to speed on python and the computer vision/numpy/data processing pipeline stack there for data quality/perception work, along with Linux desktop application architecting and development for AV utilities. Recently had to read the Linux kernel source and find a subtle issue in the network stack causing high latency on sensor data for AV, also coincidentally fixed most of the network timing infrastructure.
Primary skills include hard real time embedded systems, safety critical applications, firmware development, system integration and complex hardware/software interaction debugging, along with detailed data analysis problems.
Side interests include machining, 3D printing, embedded system development, coffee roasting and furniture making.

Recently ex-Google, but I also have small- and medium-sized company experience. Probably happiest building for builders, but pragmatically flexible to meet project needs.

I have a PhD in operations research---essentially, I solve optimization problems. You can give me a real-world problem and I can translate it into a mathematical model that can be solved (often optimally) via integer programming, constraint programming, or other methods. I'm the father of four young children, so I'm looking for flexible/remote part-time work (I'm also open to contract work).
I'm currently working on a column generation-based daily fantasy sports (DFS) solver as a personal project. Taking as input the predictions/requirements of the user, this solver can generate optimal lineups for multi-entry tourneys. It is, as far as I'm aware, the only DFS solver that can generate provably optimal sets of lineups for multi-entry DFS tourneys.

Hey there, I'm a full-stack developer looking for my next opportunity to collaborate with an enthusiastic, hardworking, and fun team. Check out my most recent project - Herald - an open-source application that simplifies the deployment of a full observability pipeline, condensing a complex multi-application deployment (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Fleet Server) into just a few simple steps.
