#3Have any of these "anonymous startups" ever taken off?
I don't know why someone would build a project and not attach it to their own identity. Like their personal blog, Fediverse- or Twitter-account. Feels kind of cold. Before I sign up with something, I would want to see who is behind it.
This one seems particularely scary as it is part of a web of similar sites which all do the same thing: Ask for an email to access a simple frontend to the OpenAI API. I wouldn't want my email to go into that pool.
I have been watching Show HNs for over a decade now and as far as I remember none of the sites that hide who is behind them have ever taken off. Or are there any counterexamples?
