For quite a long while I feel like my operating system has been Chrome and VS Code, maybe a few other things. I work on both Windows and mac, and forget for extended periods of time what computer I'm even using.

I mean, we're talking about a fourteen year old computer. With a couple commandline options you can be supported on a modern, updated OS, which is more than you can say for any other major OS.

By failing to reproduce that success, Microsoft has ceded most of the moral market share to Apple. Sounds more like project zero didn't bother looking for xp exploits, not that they don't exist.
My understanding is project zero is about finding new zero days, not cataloging known vulnerabilities.
