Hi, I'm a developer and UX consultant with 5 years of experience at an agency. I care deeply about design details and writing maintainable code.

I'm looking to transition into a full-time developer role, and am looking for a position that will allow me to work within a cross-functional team and be involved throughout the product lifecycle.

Hey HN! I'm a junior software engineer, just finished a 6 months internship at Amazon but due to hiring freeze I haven't been contacted for a return offer (would really like to come back to the company if there's a team looking for an L4 SDE!). Other than that I've been running a website for a department at my university used by hundreds of student for research purposes for 3 years (full-stack role). Been working on a lot of side projects, mostly backend and iOS apps. I'm actively looking for a backend engineering role but I'm also really interested in system programming position.

I'm a researcher in theoretical cosmology with extensive experience in theoretical modelling, statistical forecasts, and numerical simulations. At the moment, I am working primarily on making better scientific software tools, as well as making forecasts for upcoming galaxy surveys (e.g. ESA's Euclid mission). I enjoy solving complex problems, building maintainable and customizable software, and automating tasks using the command-line. Currently on the lookout for new opportunities in a more applied setting, either in research (development of scientific software), or industry (backend or data analysis/engineering).
