Was ChatGPT available 2 years ago? Probably just a sentence that was not written (or translated) clearly, but which means to say the signs of "eco-anxiety" began two years ago, not the chatting.

Article is light on details around what the AI said to prompt a suicide. Does anyone have more details around the specific exchanges?

Without that, how can we really know whether it is the AI to blame?

0 mention of why the Chatbot is the reason he killed himself. Not saying it is untrue but without anything describing what conversations took place this just seems like fearmongering.

Article confusingly says that he s been using chatGPT for 3 years. Doesnt sound credible

OTOH eco-anxiety maybe has become a clinical issue? No doubt all the FUD wears on people. It's always like that in the west, as if people need to be tormented with something, be it god, or nukes or whatever.

Eh, it was the original therapy chatbot. Focused on Rodgerian psychotherapy.

I'm not even sure ChatGPT existed two years ago. It seems like a very odd story. I wonder what the core facts are.
