The web version of Twitter is an "app" of its own, so you're using an app that interact with API using API key, no matter what. And they messed that up.

Oh, ok. Thank You. I wish I understood this technological stuff better. Baby steps.

So many green accounts, looks like this thread is one of the top results on Google for "Your current API plan does not include access to this endpoint" search term.

Hilarious, it seems that some people saw "Hacker News" and immediately thought that they had been hacked.
