I have a master's in nuclear science, with experience developing and implementing all aspects of an accelerator experiment, covering everything from CAD work and control electronics to radiation detector systems, data analysis, and conference presentations. I switched fields to focus on the climate crisis and I'm currently a PhD candidate in the history of climate science, where I've designed a new database system to dramatically improve historians' access to large archives produced by Big Science collaborations. I currently work as a Penetration Tester for a consultancy where I work on multiple different projects from web application testing, internal/external network assessments, Cloud Config Reviews, and Social Engineering.
