What would you do differently if you didn't have a Twitter account with almost 40k followers? Promoting the product is a big problem for most founders because they don't have an audience.

I’d start one as soon as possible. Even an audience of 10 people is better than an audience of 0 people.

Secondly, I’d explore more channels rather than Twitter. Reddit, HN, and even Facebook Groups (yep, there are still people using those).

Third, I’d look deep into my network to see if there was anyone that could amplify the message. I’d ask every single friend I have and beg them to share. Even 1 RT could make a difference.

As a co-founder I also posted a thread on Twitter and I don't have as many followers as Zeno (1.2k now, previously I had less than 1k), that helped a lot as well since we got some different people interested there (~53k impression, 252 likes).
