#2Funny how people keep complaining about companies that don’t allow them to work from anywhere, but then are only willing to accept a salary based on the market value of a very small number of countries.

There are pretty serious costs involved in hiring globally, especially due to managing the tax implications but that's not the only reason. Usually you can get around this by hiring foreign contractors instead of employees, but not always.
There are companies that specialize in handling this for you, though. Some of them are on the list! Most of the others probably contract someone to handle it for them.

At previous company I was hired as a contractor and the contractor company was my own S-Corp

They are called payroll providers who act as the Employer of Record (EOR).

At previous company I was hired as a contractor and the contractor company was my own S-Corp
Were the tax advantages better as an S-Corp than an LLC?

#10Cool. Most talent for any given role is outside the hiring manager's country.
Also, what some current alternatives to YC listings and (sunsetted) Github Jobs?
