Bio: Hi, I am Akash Verma. As a software developer with 1 year of experience, I excel in back-end engineering for cross-platform desktop applications, automation scripts, and RESTful API design. Proficient in Python, JavaScript, and C++, I bring a diverse skill set to software development projects.

My passion for software development and expertise was recognized at the international level when I was selected to participate in the Google Summer of Code 2022 program, where I collaborated with NASA engineers and astrophysicists on the Helioviewer Project. I also had the privilege of speaking at the San Diego PyStudyGroup conference in September 2022, showcasing the work I accomplished during the program.

With a strong ability to write, read, review, edit, and correct code, I am eager to apply my skills and experience to new projects.

I have 18 years of experience as a developer, architect and tech lead. I'm a generalist. I've done backend, frontend, ML, devops and security among others. My mantra is to use the right tool for the job and I'm more than willing to learn new languages and tools. My last position was the CTO (70% hands-on) for a start-up in the DSaaS space. I'm looking for a Software architect position or similar but I'm open to other opportunities.
