> cloudflared: effortless external access for all my stuff + all other Cloudflare goodies (WAF/Zero-Trust). Good piece of mind to not have to ever open ports on my local network and let CF just take the brunt of the Internet. Also used as a local PlaintextDNS=>DoH proxy that is hooked up to NextDNS (https://www.cloudflare.com/products/tunnel/).
I was a beta tester for Warp pre-launch and set my home server up to use it. I'll agree with you -- it was
awesome. I stopped using it after the beta since it became metered (which was expected and I'm not sore about[0])

I
don't work for the big orange cloud company and
I really like the software you make, I
really enjoy reading your technical blogs and have routinely shared them with co-workers at past jobs[1]. I had a coworker solve a long-running issue on a pool of Linux front-end hosts by tweaking some kernel/network configuration settings -- he mentioned he got the idea from a blog post from the big orange cloud company that "he read over the weekend". I use your services for my home server and end up recommending (and ultimately using) it with every one of my customers. I'm
sure you guys have pissed
someone off by now, but everyone I encounter heaps praise on your products and company.
[0] Okay, maybe a little. It was a really neat service that I got to use for free for almost a year. A gentleman from Cloudflare (I think he said he worked in Romania) even sent me a gray T-Shirt with the big orange cloud company's logo on it in "Apple-style" minimalism.
[1] Programmers have gaps -- I'm surprised how many web developers' gaps are "everything between the various hosted files and The Browser".
